David Bergantino

David Bergantino has been in digital entertainment for over 25 years as a writer, producer, designer, programmer, consultant and executive, and has worked for nearly every major family entertainment company and game publisher on content across all platforms. He’s held staff positions at Disney Interactive, Jim Henson Interactive, The WB Network, Visual Science, THQ, and, most notably at Nickelodeon as VP of Premium Games Production. Bergantino currently acts as Advisor to the government of Colombia to help develop and promote the game industry of that country. He is also the author of 11 published novels and was part of the award-winning team responsible for Universal Studios Florida’s Mummy ride. He’s worked with mega-producer Kathleen Kennedy, and directors M. Night Shyamalan, Wes Craven, Sean Cunningham and Steve Oedekerk. Among his real life adventures, Bergantino has hung out with the Village People and spent a day in jail with George Jung, Johnny Depp’s character in the movie Blow. Bergantino also maintains a robust life (and death) in fiction; he is officially part of the Star Wars universe as two characters and has been killed three times in the course of two novels.
