Adam Abel Bio
Adam started his career at Paramount Pictures in the creative affairs office in 1994. Through this experience he decided to make a career of entertaining people. While working full time in the industry he studied Business Management at UVU and BYU. Upon graduation he started Go Films with Ryan Little. Go Films’ first feature, Saints and Soldiers, drew attention and praise of critics and audiences alike; winning best picture in over fourteen film festivals around the world and nominated, twice, for the coveted Independent Spirit Awards (Independent films Oscar).
Adam’s award winning career continued with Outlaw Trail, which won a Crystal Heart at the Heartland Film Festival in Indianapolis and Forever Strong, won a Truly Moving Picture Award, thus continuing His award-winning endeavors.
Saints and Soldiers: Airborne Creed, was released worldwide in the Fall of 2012. Saints and Soldiers: The Void debut worldwide August 2014. Adam is currently in post-production on Freetown, a feature length film shot on location in West Africa about African Missionaries fleeing for their lives from a civil war in 1990.
In addition to his feature film endeavors, Adam produces television commercials and documentaries for clients around the world. He was the original producer of the “I’m A Mormon” campaign launch for the LDS Church. He and his wife Amber are the parents of five children. They live in American Fork, Utah.
Go Films
Go Films is an award-winning feature film and commercial production company. Founded in 2002 by producer Adam Abel and director Ryan Little. GO Films productions have been received and celebrated by audience worldwide. Saints and Soldiers was Go Films’ first feature film. Saints and Soldiers won best picture at fourteen film festivals around the world and was nominated for two coveted Independent Spirit Awards, the Oscar of Independent Film. Go Films next productions; Outlaw Trail and Forever Strong continued the tradition of excellence by each taking home internationally recognized awards as well. Go Films has continued the Saints and Soldiers brand with their feature-length film Saints and Soldiers: Airborne Creed and Saints and Soldiers: The Void.
In addition to feature film work, Go Films has continued the award-winning standard in their commercial and public service productions. 2009 brought their first BEST PSA Award for the production of Swashbuckler, a PSA for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
