Student Showcase

it's about showing off your students and program. Institutions will apply to exhibit at the F.U.E.L.  the best of their student work or collaborative projects.  It is open to any kind of media projects including individual student art pieces, class projects, video installations creative strategies - anything reflects the accomplishments of your institution in the media areas.

The F.U.E.L. Gallery, located in the “Old City” historic district of Philadelphia will sponsor the IDMAa Student Showcase in conjunction with the IDMAa Conference: Beyond Boundaries. We encourage you (as an institutional representative) to apply to participate in this showcase.

SUBMISSION:(What we need)

  1. Faculty/Student Representative who will attend the conference and present their institution and student projects.
  2. Installation of a visual representation of up to 5 students or projects. This can be a formal new media art piece, or poster board of case studies, or a video or document of a project/s. Small jpeg photographs are required with the submission. You (the institution representative) are responsible for all equipment and materials needed. Contact Gail Rubini () for specific information.
  3. Submission of a $250.00 fee/institution (check or credit card)
  4. Completion of the online application form by October 1.

There will be five $100 awards given to outstanding student work or collaborative projects to be selected by a members of the iDMAa advisory board.

This is a great opportunity to highlight some of your most successful students/projects and show off your program. Space for this showcase is limited, so please apply early.

F.U.E.L. (http://www.fuelcollection.com/) creates a space where everyone and anyone can feel comfortable experiencing and learning about media. F.U.E.L. exists to provide a center for cultural enrichment and dissemination for both students and the general public.

Although we encourage complex and innovative constructs, participants are responsible for providing all necessary equipment and labor. We are not responsible for damage to work during shipping and we recommend you purchase shipping insurance.
