About · CleanPal on the desktop
Storage clutter accumulates quickly on any device, from ad-generated files to leftover fragments after app removals. CleanPal offers a straightforward way to review what's taking up space and decide what stays. Running CleanPal on PC gives users a larger canvas to scan storage items, spot patterns in accumulated junk, and manage removals with precision, all without leaving the desktop.
CleanPal identifies several categories of storage waste that users often overlook. The app scans for ad-stored files created by in-app advertising components, unneeded APKs from outdated installations, leftover files after app uninstalls, temporary files generated during app activity, crash diagnostic reports, and empty folders. Each item appears in the CleanPal interface so users can review before taking action.
Starting Your First Scan
When CleanPal launches, users see their device's storage usage at a glance. The app then walks through its core workflow:
- Grant storage access so CleanPal can read files in system directories
- Let the app scan for non-media files in storage folders
- Review the results, organized by file type and risk level
- Select items to remove or keep
- Confirm each deletion before it takes effect
- Check the updated storage report
Taking Control of Cleanup
All file removals in CleanPal require explicit user initiation and confirmation. The app does not automatically delete anything. Users decide whether ad files, unneeded APKs, leftover fragments, or temp files warrant removal. This hands-on approach to phone storage cleaning means no surprise deletions. File scanning happens entirely on the device, personal file content never uploads to external servers.
Additional Tools for Device Health
Beyond file cleanup, CleanPal includes a speaker test utility that plays sound waves to help clear dust from the device speaker. This secondary feature rounds out the app's maintenance capabilities for users who want to address multiple aspects of device upkeep alongside storage optimization.
