iDMAa 2024: Wild Media

Conference and Exhibition June 27-30, 2024
Winona State University, Winona, Minnesota

About the 2024 Conference »

About the 2024 Conference

Uncultivated, emergent, uncivilized, natural, unbridled, chaotic, ecstatic, exuberant, the word “wild” can be understood in many ways. This year’s iDMAa Conference, Exhibition, and Workshop will be focused on the theme “Wild Media.” In keeping with iDMAa’s commitment to “militantly marginal” media practices, this year’s theme will focus on wild media. So, send us your papers on ecological art, folk practices, generative processes, excessive expressions, outsider cultures, and other forms of “wild” media. The Conference will feature a keynote address by author, artist, and educator, Talan Memmott (Lexia to Perplexia, Dérivepedia, Clickbait) and exhibition is curated by Alinta Krauth.
