iDMAa Award for Positive Innovation in Media

The IDMAa Award will be presented for the first time in 2004. It is presented to the innovative media creator whose work appeared in 2003, and which made a positive difference in the world. Our judges are interested in new kinds of learning, entertainment, health, social change, economic opportunity, better user interfaces. In short, media that make the planet healthier and people happier. It�s a very open-ended award.

There are several unique things about the Award:

NOMINATION: The candidates are nominated by university students and faculty worldwide. This demographic group represents the future market for media. Thus the iDMAs Award represents a special kind of endorsement for the work of its recipient. The nominations must be made by 15 January 2004.
TRAVEL: The iDMAa Conference provides all-expense-paid trips to Orlando, Florida to attend the Conference for the winner as well as for the first nominator of this person.
AWARD: The award is given to the recipient, by the nominator.
EXCURSION: Together, the awardee and nominator will participate in an exclusive back-stage tour of one of Orlando's famous theme parks, in the company of some of the creative artists and engineers who designed the theme park. They will have dinner with the Conference's organizers and other media industry leaders.
